UPDATE: Water Use Advisory Continues for Bonnyville

Residence Advised to Continue to Reduce Water Consumption Due to Repairs to Water Transmission Line

The Town of Bonnyville has discovered two separate water breaks on the transmission lines that fill the Town’s water reservoirs from the Water Treatment Plant. Crews continue to work on repairing both leaks; however, it appears that it will take several more hours to complete.

The Town wants to thank residents and businesses for their continued corporation in reducing water consumption for the rest of Friday and into the weekend. The current reduction means that unless an emergency develops, water shut-off for the Town, if required, will not need to occur until Saturday morning.

The Town will endeavor, through LCN, to provide as much notice as possible to businesses/residents, should a water shut off be implemented.

The Town thanks everyone for their continued corporation in reducing water consumption.
